building ai indonesia, in partnership with building iq inc., are the exclusive indonesian territory distributors of the patented technology known as the 5i intelligent energy platform. we help building owners and operators worldwide lower energy use, increase building operations efficiency and enhance tenant comfort. we make this happen through our 5i platform of technology-enabled services that power a better internet of things (iot) approach for buildings. over time, the platform leverages machine learning to evolve along with our customers’ buildings. argonne national laboratory, a u.s. energy department, independently tested building iq and found the technology reduced hvac energy use by up to 45 percent. building iq services are now provided to over 1,200 buildings worldwide (approx. 120 million square feet under contract), as of 4th quarter 2018.
