building code inspectors (bci), is a family owned and operated construction inspection agency, started up by myself, a multiple-certified inspector and master code professional (mcp). i have 28 years of work experience in the building field. i started as an electrician, but with multiple certifications and examinations progressed to become an inspector working under the city government inspectors in ohio over 14 years, followed by a highly reputable agency in washington d.c. over a span of 10 years. with a desire to work for myself, four years ago i decided to open my own business. our agency is registered with the third-party program of washington, dc. it complies with all dcra requirements for registration as a third party inspection agency including inspector qualifications and liability insurance. we have general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 in addition to insurance for professional error & omission liability, up to the amount of $1,000,000. building code insp
