strand one: supporting the structures : the structures of joint policing committee and local policing forums need strengthening, connecting and focusing. strand two: restorative practice : the strategy includes work to create model restorative communities. strand three: tackling street-based anti-social behaviour : developing responses to children and young people involved in drug-dealing and anti-social behaviour. strand four: tackling the orchestrators : the networks are sustained by some people who organise and direct their activities. the strategy includes a garda-led response to them. strand five: poilicy : the strategy connects the work to state policies and initiatives on community safety – principally the roll-out on the commission on the future of policing recommendations.
