we’re about better residential building through innovation. we believe new thinking and action is needed to meet the huge challenge of providing an unprecedented volume of new housing in new zealand, as well as improving the standard of our existing homes, at consistently lower cost. our view is that to get sustainably improved housing outcomes for new zealanders, now and for the future, things need to change across the entire sector, from national and local government processes, banking & legal criteria, to industry participants, tradespeople and suppliers. we also believe that education requires significant real-world learning components so that we can better cater for young people & immigrants seeking an exciting career in a rapidly growing industry. big believes that when a client engages professionals who can supply accurate information to both contractors and suppliers, the cost effectiveness of any construction project will increase significantly. by utilising every stakehol
