building science studio is dedicated to accelerating our transition to a more sustainable, beautiful and equitable environment. reducing greenhouse gas emissions is central to california’s long term energy plans. consequently, energy code requirements, local government standards and best practices are all advancing at an accelerating rate. we believe this transformation is an opportunity. through careful research and analysis, we strive to help the building community resolve and embrace some of these challenges by going beyond code. whether the goal is net zero, carbon neutrality or living building, grounded building science is at the core of bringing good design to life.
