bulgarian association for construction insulation and waterproofing (baciw) is a non-profit ngo which represents the interests of companies, operating in the field of external thermal insulation composite systems, energy efficiency, roofing, waterproofing and corrosion prevention. the association unites manufacturers, traders and application firms as well as eminent experts in the sector, scientific institutes, laboratories and higger education organizations. the major goals of the association are: to maintain constant dialogue with its members, to mediate the contacts of its members with state institutions, to introduce systems for training of field staff and monitoring of the materials on the market, to influence the development of state policies and regulations, to protect its members from unfair competition for guaranteeing high quality of the end product. baciw has currently 47 full members (40 business entities and 7 physical persons) and 4 associated members. the association is
