bulgarian herb bg is a fast-growing company that deals with the extraction of organic essential oils and floral waters from roman chamomile ( antemis nobilis), german chamomile (matricaria recutita) and conventional essential oils from melissa officinalis, rosa damascena, lavender, yarrow (achillea millefolium), etc . the company cultivates 500 hectares of german chamomile, 150 hectares of roman chamomile and 70 hectares of melissa officinalis. since 2015, bulgarian herb bg has been successfully extracting essential oils from its own produce. in 2017 the company commissioned its own distillery, one of the largest on the balkan peninsula. the project was fully financed by the company itself. the distillery has 5 distillation tanks of 23m3 and 5 distillation tanks of 10 m3 each, for extraction of essential oils and floral waters. bulgarian herb bg is a member of the bulgarian industrial association and ifeat (international federation of essential oils and aroma trades).
