Bulgarian Rugby Group

the brg traditions are rooted in a group of players who met in sofia in 2015. all of them were so different from each other but in the same time so alike - sharing the passion and principles of rugby. the group's main mission is to reach out to as many people as possible and introduce them to rugby. the brg was founded by a few members of another bulgarian rugby club, who in true revolutionary spirit took a great step forward in exercising their independence. these men had developed a distinct style of play both on and off the field. if there is a way for one to show his individual qualities in rugby it is by example. the brg is currently focusing on the development of children academy – royal lions r.f.c & academy. teaching kids virtues and showing them the right path in life is difficult and sometimes the "ladder" is hard to find. this is why we believe rugby takes such an important place in one’s life. rugby is the ladder to great individual virtues, healthy and strong physique, res
