Bull Run Valley Glass

robert kincheloe is a ten-year glass enthusiast and hobbyist with a background in various styles of glass working. focused on borosilicate flameworking, over the last several years, he has been creating a mix of both solid and hollow forms. his creations include marbles, jewelry, ornaments, pens, vases, goblets, and more. recently, robert has started working with soft glass, cold-working, and kiln forming techniques to create small paperweights and “geode” forms. he is a studio artist at the workhouse arts center in lorton, virginia. in the future he hopes to expand community awareness of the non-traditional and exotic arts through the blends of medium and techniques within the glass arts.
