what is a bumble + fox? well, those are my kids – or at least their nicknames! and it’s also my brand… hi, i’m lydia. i’m a multifaceted queer mama creating unapologetic art that feels all the feels + has all the colors. i’m all over the place – but that’s ok. i’m human and i’m learning to embrace that messy me because there are a lot more of us than not. while on maternity leave with my second little during a global pandemic, i decided i needed something to help me feel alive – or at least more inspired than the world was leaving me feeling. so i picked up my ipad and decided to start lettering. i make designs that relate to my life and express my thoughts. some are fun or silly and others are heavy, but they’re all from the heart. i put these out into the world in hopes that they’ll touch someone else in a positive way – help them feel less alone, inspired, loved, valid, empowered. if you’re here, that just might be you <3
