bur al hickman hospitality (bah) was established in muscat, sultanate of oman in year 2007. inspiration for name of the company is being taken from the famous beach stretching south of masirah island where arab sea meets arabian desert sands. bah started its business in may 2007 by introducing its first restaurant — "pizzaexpress", a uk franchise in muscat at the oasis by the sea in shatti al qurum. in may, 2009 bur al hickman launched its new concept "shang thai" — authentic thai cuisine, located at ai khuwair, sultan qaboos road. following its success, bur al hickman proudly launched yet another shang thai outlet in wave muscat and at jumeirah, dubai consecutively. with the addition of another shang thai outlet at muscat grand mall in 2013, bah is consistently showing its expansion plans and growth in upward direction. bur al hickman hospitality has recently launched another casual dining concept - cafe shang thai offering most popular thai delicacies served in a cafe style in a mode
