bureau christopher knowles is an independent design practice dedicated to working on behalf of and in conversation with cultural organizations, artists, non-profits, editorial and publishing fields and select small businesses. we practice alternative means of sense-visual communication through intuition, research, experimental logic, and a sense of play. the studio produces regular self-initiated works, and offers services in creative direction, art direction, book and editorial design, identity systems and strategy, exhibition and signage systems, printed matter and digital design.
