once upon a time in russia 3 friends launched moscow’s most infamous steak restaurant, goodman (“the only meat for good men”) then one night, after a few too many drinks and with way too much knowledge about beef under their belts, they spoke of opening a place in london. first, it was to be a burger joint. then a restaurant that only served lobster. finally came that eureka moment, when they hit on the idea of combining the two! but what to call it…? and so the first burger & lobster was born, in a tiny old irish pub in mayfair.
