at burgess hill girls our focus is on girls and the way they learn, the skills and talents they have and the best way to encourage their personal development. every year students at perform exceptionally well in their external examinations, but this is only part of the story. we offer all our students a wide range of opportunities to challenge and bring out the best in them, so that they are able to find and develop their individual interests and talents. we are a successful day and boarding school for girls between 2½ and 18 years of age, with boys welcome in the nursery. the school is small enough that children are known as individuals yet large enough to offer breadth, choice and opportunity. the sixth form students are given responsibility and independence which prepares them well for the next stage of their lives. the vast majority go on to universities the length and breadth of the uk, from exeter to london, oxford to cambridge, cardiff or st andrews to name but a few. our gi
