burland tm practiced for ten years as a conventional architect. it has a diversified portfolio and several high profile planning consents in residential buildings, student housing and film studios. more recently the firm relocated to lake como and operated as james burland architect providing consultancy services for sports projects including a stadium in naples and debrecen; and for film studios rome and singapore. in 2014, in pursuit of the bristol arena, a past btm project, an engineering and architectural submission to pre-qualify led to a role developing an interdisciplinary design studio for the terrell group, terrell architecture. this will effectively draw a line under burland tm architects.
