Burlington Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol

the burlington composite squadron (charter number mer-nc-022) is a local unit of the official united states air force's civilian auxiliary, civil air patrol (gocivilairpatrol.com) located in burlington, north carolina. our three main missions are: 1. emergency services. we assist local and federal agencies with disaster relief and search and rescue missions as tasked by the air force rescue coordination center with highly-trained aircrew and ground teams. 2. cadet programs. we operate a cadet program for youth aged 12 to 21 to instill leadership and character concepts that make productive citizens in our community. 3. aerospace education. we educate cadets and the public about current and historical aerospace achievements and why they matter. civil air patrol's four core values are: integrity, volunteer service, excellence, and respect. we meet tuesday nights from 1830–2100. interested walk-ins of all ages are welcome.
