burma lane is the latest restaurant from the team that bought you red spice road. the idea sprang from a sell out, raved about, burmese experience put on by the red spice road crew during the 2013 melbourne food and wine festival laneway events. since then our chefs have been excited about burmese cuisine with its myriad of influences and the opportunity for culinary adventure this brings. adam trengove, former head chef at the original red spice road, mckillop street, heads up the burma lane team. he’s created an exciting new menu celebrating the fresh, vibrant, deliciously different flavours of the region, featuring influences from the many cultures of modern and ancient burma. located at the paris end of little collins street, between russell street and exhibition street, burma lane brings diners a modern australian take on the best of burmese cuisine. come and experience a taste of south east asia's long-forgotten, but deliciously different neighbour today!
