the burnaby tennis club is a non-profit society that functions in co-operation with the city of burnaby. initially formed as an outdoor club in 1967, it added a 6 court air dome in 1982 which made the club a year round facility. our current membership has reached 300 members. pay and play patrons, (people who pay court fees on an hourly basis) are capped at 250. the burnaby tennis club is an extremely active “little club” with a strong mens and ladies league contingents. we currently have 3 mens league teams and 3 ladies league teams. we also have weekly mens doubles and mixed doubles as well as monthly tennis socials. for the singles players, there is a monthly box ladder.
