bursa uludağ üniversitesi i̇nşaat mühendisliği bölümü yüksek öğretim kurumu’nun 24.11.1994 tarih ve 2695 sayılı yazısı ile kurulmuştur. ancak bölümün faaliyete geçişi 5 ocak 2010 tarihinde ilk öğretim üyesinin atanması ile gerçekleşmiştir. faaliyete geçtikten bir yıl sonra 2011-2012 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz yarıyılında lisans ve tezli yüksek lisans programları açılmıştır. 2012-2013 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz yarıyılında doktora 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar yarıyılında tezsiz yüksek lisans programları açılmıştır. bölüm faaliyetleri ilk olarak mühendislik fakültesi ana binası’nın 2. katında yürütülmüştür. 26 ekim 2011 tarihinde bursa uludağ üniversitesi ile öztimurlar i̇nşaat firması arasında yapılan protokol ile halen eğitim-öğretim faaliyetlerinin yürütüldüğü bölüm binasının yapımına başlanmıştır. bölüm binasının yapımı 24 eylül 2013 tarihinde tamamlanmasının ardından 2013-2014 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz yarıyılından itibaren bölüm faaliyetleri bu binada sürdürmüştür. bölümde 2021
