Burt Lumber Company

manufacturer of southern yellow pine. manufacture 2x4, 4x4, & 5/4x6 8ft through 16ft lengths. for over fifty years, burt lumber company has been a leading producer of small timbers. mr. burt, at one time, was known as the 4x4 king. still today, nearly one half of the company's annual production (25 million board feet) are 4x4's. a great deal of pride is taken in the quality of these timbers, as they contain virtually no wane. besides small timbers, burt lumber company manufactures one-inch boards and two-inch dimension. lengths range from 8 to 16 feet. grade separated are #1, #2, and #3/4 industrial. besides our own quality control people, lumber grading is periodically monitored by timber products inspection, inc. a licensed inspection agency under the supervision of the american lumber standards committee. quality of product continues to be one of the uppermost goals of burt lumber company and we take a great deal of pride in the manufacture and appearance of our lumber.
