Buses4homeless Cic
founded after discovering a man sleeping rough in a luggage storage compartment of a coach back in 2018, dan atkins and his team set about creating www.buses4homeless.org with one clear and simple mission - to transform the lives of homeless people by giving them the necessary tools, skills and self-confidence to be able to reengage and integrate them back into society. our unique programme offers guests a safe and secure environment by creating ‘communities’ made up of four converted, decommissioned double decker buses: - bus4shelter: consisting of 16 self-contained sleeping pods - bus4dining: giving the chance to cook nutritional meals for each other - bus4learning: providing vocational and soft skills to help find employment - bus4wellness: taking care of their physical, emotional and mental health with over 300,000 homeless people in the uk and the number of rough sleepers in london currently rising year on year, the time for action is now. if you’d like to find out more,
