with over 45,000 members in chapters located throughout 23 states and puerto rico, business professionals of america (bpa) is dedicated to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic and technological skills. serving the middle, secondary and post-secondary levels, bpa’s programs span five career pathways: finance, business administration, management information systems, digital communication & design and management, marketing & communication. business professionals of america is a co-curricular organization supporting business and information technology educators by offering curriculum based on national standards. resources and materials are available online and designed to be customized to a school’s program. the workplace skills assessment program (wsap) prepares students to succeed and assesses real-world business skills and problem solving abilities in finance, management, information technology and computer applications.
