buzzit is a messenger that lets you connect with people at your location without the risks and limitations of sharing contact information. use it to tap in to what's happening around you or share anything with your community we're building buzzit to make people feel more in sync with the people around them by letting them talk about things that they couldn’t say elsewhere. as a society we are too quick to not say what we’re thinking and this creates social problems (google or youtube “pluralistic ignorance” to fully grasp the consequences). it’s easiest to explain this with an example: imagine you’re sitting in a class or a meeting, the speaker wraps up a monologue and asks, “does anyone have any questions?” you consider raising your hand but realize no one else has their hand up. not wanting to look stupid, you keep quiet. this leaves you feeling like (a) you’re the only one that didn’t get it, or (b) that no one else in the entire room of 100 people was paying enough attention to rea
