i help my clients create compassionate, reasonable and delicious nutrition and lifestyle plans that they can achieve! since nutrition extends beyond mealtimes and can require long-term lifestyle changes, the big picture must be considered. common goals are to release weight, manage food allergies, soothe pain and inflammation, reduce stress, balance sleep cycles, achieve a life-work balance and increase energy to spend on hobbies and loved ones. i also put great importance on research (this was driven home in my rigorous science-based education from bastyr university)- i do not accept nutrition "rules" until i know for sure they make sense. what's the use of working hard to make a change that is not truly helpful? but, every person is 100% unique, so the most important thing is to find what works for them. many health issues (digestive, physical, psychological and otherwise) may be caused by gluten! seems impossible since wheat's been around for thousands of years, but it's true. i put
