buzz india is about awakening and encouraging low-income women who have desires and aspirations but lack the courage or skills to achieve them. we support them to access their own inner strengths, their own abilities, their ‘self-shakti’ as we would like to call it. we give the women a little boost, encouragement, confidence, passion and entrepreneurial energy to realize their dreams. we do this through financial training, entrepreneurial development and leadership development. at buzz india, we believe that a woman who is financially literate and knows how to increase her income through entrepreneurship, cannot stay poor. there are 3 million low income women in the state of karnataka, india. these women do not know how to save money or how to increase their income. they get caught in the local moneylender trap and then debt and poverty becomes a vicious cycle. we decided to break this by driving in change, literally! we go to the villages on the buzz india buses to train low income wo
