bwih- black women in health – is a non-profit partnership network for black female healthcare professionals in the uk with the commitment of promoting the awareness of equality and diversity, thereby contributing to uplifting the national health service at large. we are strengthening the capacity of a unique generation of black women in medicine and healthcare to play more significant roles in the medical profession, medical leadership, medical polity, medical education, by creating awareness of and proffering solutions to tackling the challenges of diversity in the medical field. by encouraging representation, participation, inclusion, self development and professional excellence. our slogan is ”breaking barriers and building bridges”.
