if you have been given the role of team leader or manager within your organisation then i salute you. before we become managers or leaders we often have no clue about exactly what's involved and on some days it can feel like a real challenge. i made lots of mistakes along my journey to becoming a team leader, then a manager, then a director. there are many things i know now that would have been a real help to me had i known them then. and so now i have the joy of working with aspiring and established managers and leaders to share the lessons i wish i'd had to help them overcome some of the challenges they face and also to help them create and deliver their vision for the future. i have been lucky to have had the opportunity to try a variety of roles within different types of organisations. i have started at the bottom and worked my way up and met some inspirational people along the way. i know how important it was for me to have someone in my corner and i want to be that person
