by lizzy is non-profit social enterprise set up to develop and provide accredited and non-accredited training and workshops for young people within the jewellery, fashion and creative industries for those not currently in mainstream education. this training has been developed to re-engage the learner back into education, with the view for them to either progress into further education, employment or enterprise. within our delivery, we aim to strengthen the soft skills alongside the hard skills to ensure that the by lizzy re-visit to education is seen as not only a fun and enjoyable one, but also a positive one that is viewed as achievable. there is an unexplainable feeling and sense of pride when an individual designs something and then makes it into a product. for those that have not had a positive experience in education, and/or have been out of it for a while, it is likely that this ‘feeling’ is something new. at by lizzy we aim to re-engage you in a learning environment, learnin
