define your culture. art and culture simultaneously influence society by changing our values over time and shape humanity. i first began creating with an end goal of taking images that contain one meaning and transforming them to fit within a new framework becoming much larger than itself. not to mention, to create pieces that define consumer views on culture and touches on the explicit variances from person to person. using my background of social media marketing and brand development, along with my creative confidence, i was able to create byjillkush amid the dreadful year faced by covid-19. using a variety of resources and outlets, i feel a sense of empowerment by digital capturing’s, as they contain narratives. through my own artistic expression, i continue to generate pieces that reflect and embody the culture and times we live in. some of my works are currently featured at rubirosa nyc and jones road beauty’s office.
