hi, i am erica. i graduated from puc-rio more than twenty years ago. my major was english and portuguese language and literature and i have been teaching since then. i have worked at several different english schools in rio where i have had the pleasure of preparing hundreds of students not only to communicate in the english language in general, but also to take proficiency and scored-based tests. i also had the chance to live in the united states for a while, studying and working. throughout all these years, i have already worked as a manager in different school units in rio and have taken an executive mba at ufrj. what i really enjoy doing is teaching adults. i work with the communicative approach with 100% customized online classes. i strongly believe that adult students learn better, when they are in the center of their own learning process and exposed to practical and contextualized content. with all my experience, i certainly understand the needs and anxiety of the english langua
