the goal of the project is to create a model that will cover the material flows of wood in its production and processing (primary and secondary), in the collection of residues and waste, reuse and use in the energy industry. the model should evaluate these flows primarily from an economic and environmental point of view (primarily the balance of emissions greenhouse gases) from a point of view where it makes sense and possibly also from a social point of view. at that, let's explicitly highlights not only the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions due to the manufacture and use of wood products (and not products from other, more energy-consuming formations or formations of fossil origin) but also the amount of biogenic carbon that is bound in wood products.
