the observatory on euro-mediterranean democracy, knowledge and common heritage (observatory e-medine) is a non-profit private association constituted under the italian republic law. it aims at promoting of active citizenship, democratic engagement and civic participation of social actors, in particular young citizens and public administrations within mediterranean region through the implementation of awareness raising campaigns, round tables and introducing and testing examples of best practices from europe. mission of observatory e-medine lays in: - engaging citizens in providing concrete solutions to problems of public interest and bringing them to the attention of policy makers; - organisation of round tables and fostering public discussions; - promoting culture of active citizenship; - development and implementation of innovative formal and non-formal online training programmes; - identification trends and best practices to fight against corruption in public administrations; - tran
