E-Stewards

company overview: e-stewards (www.e-stewards.org) is an initiative to foster greater responsibility for electronic waste management. it was created by the basel action network (www.ban.org). at its core, is the e-stewards standard for responsible recycling and reuse of electronic equipment which is the world's highest standard of achievement for electronics recyclers. e-stewards certified recyclers are supported by over 70 environmental groups and corporations to date and are audited annually to the e-stewards standard. any corporation, city, or institution can become an e-stewards enterprise, indicating an interest in making best efforts to always utilize e-stewards certified recyclers. for a list of e-stewards certified recyclers and e-stewards enterprises, and more information on joining the ranks of e-stewards recyclers or enterprises, please visit www.e-stewards.org.
