up to 50 currently the most efficient onshore wind turbines will be installed in the wind park “e wind” until 2024. the park is being developed in the western part of kelmė district municipality and it will be one of the most modern wind parks in the baltic states. the capacity of one wind turbine will be about 6 mw, and the total capacity of the park, which will be developed in several stages, will reach up to 300 mw. wind park “e wind“ will produce about 1 twh of electricity per year, which is equivalent to about 7% of all electricity consumed in lithuania. approximately two-thirds of the park's wind turbines will be installed in the territory of kražiai eldership, the rest – in vaiguva, kelmė district and ramučiai (2 wind turbines) elderships, at a safe distance from residential houses, regional parks and protected areas. the wind park “e wind“ is developed by the companies jsc “vėjas lt“, jsc “windlit“ and jsc “9 sparnai“, the main shareholder of which is the “e energija“ group
