E5 Design

who? me! my name is edena alvarado, but my friends call me edie. what? i am a ux research and design freelancer. i enjoy designing and have experience in formats such as vr, ar, and 3d products. i also love spatial design, physical computing, and creating iot device ecosystems. where? i am based in chicago, il but i am currently completing my senior year at scad in savannah, ga. why? i think all design needs context. with holistic research, all my work focuses on clarifying the 5w’s of the problem and utilizing them to create a human-centered solution. how? with a formative knowledge of ux techniques while continuing to learn and adapt in any setting. when? i began freelancing in 2018 through volunteer work for social activist organizations and i have branched into contracted ux work since then.
