the european-american basketball network (eabn) is a not for profit organization run in cooperation with the students from the hanze university of applied sciences school of sports studies in groningen netherlands. eabn’s mission is to provide new opportunities for talented young basketball players to improve their game. through open and invitational tournaments, players are given the chance to see where they stand in comparison to other european players, to make contact with american coaches and scouts and to get exposure to the american style of play – as well as possibly earning a spot in one of our teams. eabn in cooperation with hanze university of applied sciences is establishing hanze basketball academy (hba) where young players can play in the highest competition in netherlands and grow as individuals. the best hba athletes will have the opportunity to play in american universities with the help of eabn.
