Italian Branch of the Eadpp (European Association of Data Protection Professionals)

the italian branch of the european association of data protection professionals (eadpp) was established in march 2021 by data protection professionals operating in italy; its primary aim is to advance the data protection practice and profession in italy, in the wake of goals and principles set forth by the european eadpp association. founded in november 2018, the eadpp is a not-for-profit association for and by european data protection professionals. this is reflected in the creation of the four eadpp bodies (general assembly, national branches, commissions and board), each of which is formed by representatives elected from its own ranks. eadpp’s short term goals are: - creating a european certification for data protection professionals; - increasing eadpp membership among eea data protection professionals; - establishing a representation at the eu bodies.
