eagerbeavers is a tech-startup that intends to disrupt poverty by providing digital skills to unemployed youth and street children in and around nakuru city in kenya. we believe that this will empower them to join digital economy, earn a better living and see them out of the streets/unemployment. we are inspired by the fact that many rural africans lack digital skills and computers to gain from the digital economy even though the developed countries have an abundance of used computer devices that are thrown away every year. our intention is to run a pilot program by opening two computer labs each with 50 computers in kaptembwo area, nakuru city, kenya by mid-2022. our long-term goal is to open a mega computer lab in nakuru city for youth and street children and to collaborate with rural primary schools all over nakuru county in offering computer trainings to pupils. the plan is to have well equipped computer labs with proper internet connection and effective software curriculum befor
