eagle simrax was originally founded in 1969, and started its sealing production in 1975 at its current location in kerkrade (the netherlands). we developed general-purpose mechanical seals for automobiles and home electric appliances, which laid the base for today’s expertise. the automotive industry is the most important driver while european based original equipment manufacturers (oem) score among the highest on global market share and market share growth. for both ekk and eagle simrax to remain market leader we follow in the european oem footsteps, but still proactively innovate in order to anticipate to future demands. despite turbulent market developments and environmental changes, it is our aim to understand our customer’s challenges and strive to deliver the right solutions. with currently about 80 people we facilitate a yearly production of over 30 million seals assembled in a high-tech production facility, generating a turnover of €33m per year.
