eagles youth partnership is the charitable organization of the philadelphia eagles, serving health and education needs of children in greater philadelphia. our mission is to enhance opportunities and improve the quality of life for children and youth in the greater philadelphia region through health and education partnerships. eagles youth partnership (eyp) was founded in 1995 as a 501(c)(3) public charity. eyp serves more than 50,000 low income children in the greater philadelphia region each year with a focus on health and education programming, specifically vision care and literacy. eyp takes its services directly to kids at their schools and in their neighborhoods. our signature programs, the eagles eye mobile and eagles book mobile, leverage the popularity of the eagles football team and bring services directly to the children who need them most. eyp is also known for its annual playground builds and a variety of other programs and events, including the eagles chess tourname
