Early Childhood Stem Lab

the early childhood stem lab is a group of educators and researchers dedicated to improving the quality of stem teaching and learning for young children. ​we provide research-based resources and professional learning opportunities to educators, education leaders, enrichment specialists, library staff, and organizations dedicated to the education of all young children. with many years of expertise in child development, educational research, pre-service teacher preparation, in-service teacher professional learning, stem, inquiry, and supporting diverse learners, we advocate for and support teaching that is achievable, sustainable, and transformative. we believe that through a strengths-based lens, we can empower those who work with young children to find the stem learning opportunities that are all around them, grounded in their space and place, in a way that is respectful and kind.
