early stage careers helps bridge the gap between college and career. we work with college students to find internships and recent graduates to find full time jobs. many of today’s students and grads are not adequately prepared for the current job marketplace. at this pivotal juncture, we expect them to figure out how to launch a career—something they have no experience doing. they lack the quality communication skills and real work experience demanded. school and college provide an educational foundation; but even at the most elite universities, career centers are underfunded, understaffed, and tend to use a one-size-fits-all approach, which rarely works for anyone. and, since 70% of all jobs are found through networking, the esc team teaches clients how to use social media to engage their personal and professional networks to identify and create opportunities, and become ninja networkers. their strategic advice is applicable to today’s technology and social media driven marketplace. e
