earlystageprofessional.com is for professionals at all stages of their careers but is specifically for those in the first 5 or so years in the workplace. it is a companion to the book early stage professional: starting off right. early stage professional’s focus is to provide tips on how to be effective in the workplace in an accessible way. the “big idea” (if we need yet another one of them) is that there are no short cuts to success, except of course having great luck! the book does not focus on “luck as a strategy” but instead on the actions and behaviors that professionals should take on to be competent, successful and satisfied. take a look at the posts on linkedin, the columns on earlystageprofessional.com and if you like the content try the book... it is short 2.5 hour read and in the short time it takes to read it, the book will pretty much give you the scoop on all things related to being effective in the workplace. got questions? just send them to fergus@whattheferg.c
