the institute for earth education is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation made up of an international network of individuals and member organisations. we believe that a special kind of education - earth education - can make a significant difference in the health of our planet. the institute... * develops and disseminates earth education programmes and activities; * conducts workshops for teachers, leaders and others involved in educating people about environmental problems; * has a range of books and programme materials available from the mail order catalogue; * publishes various journals and newsletter; * supports a network of major and local branches. our major work is to design and develop specific educational programmes that change people's view of our home, the planet earth, and the way we interact with it.
