earth limited is a non-profit educational & conservation organization that was established in 1999. earth stands for environmental awareness of resources and threatened habitats. our mission is to provide environmental and conservation education with an emphasis on animal ecology, endangered species and threatened habitats. our education methods include the extensive use of live animal presentations and hands-on activities. our presentations take place at our discovery center at southwick's zoo. earth ltd. delivers daily education programs to the nearly 350,000 seasonal visitors to the zoo. earth also provides off-site community outreach through the zoomobile program, at schools, libraries, camps, & other organizations. zoomobiles promote topics as diverse as animal ecology, endangered species, wildlife conservation, adaptations & so much more. other programs offered by earth include our summer programs, after-hours zoo tours, docent & intern training, research & junior zookeeper oppor
