earthcare films is a delhi-based production house set up in 1995, producing independent documentaries on environment conservation. earthcare engages in the space overlapping nature and people – looking through the lens of the politics of conservation. creating public opinion – especially among children and the youth, reaching out to the people who really matter at the grassroots and sensitising policy-makers on key environment and development issues is our mandate. our film-making processes are in partnership with communities with whom we make our films. developing a film’s concept, script and narratives are largely done through a participatory process. to bring the final film back to the people, dubbed in their own language, is something we always strive to achieve.
