when it comes to motivating humanity to save life on earth, the status quo is failing us. traditional economic markets, existing ‘citizen science’ movements, even international government efforts, are simply unable to offer the incentives that humanity needs to work together on such a huge and complex challenge. to save life on earth we need vast human capital in the form of nature expertise - yet this human potential remains undervalued and largely untapped. everything earth guardians does is about creating an ecosystem that incentivises humans, at mass scale, to: - connect with nature; - build nature expertise; and - generate nature data that supports biodiversity research and conversation. this is what we were doing (at small scale) with the crowd-funded release of questabird and then questagame in 2015. year on year we have built out the elements of a mass scalable solution, with careful incentives for nature connection, knowledge and data always the focus: - the release of
