little bit about earth kind and chakra project. chakra project is a small community-based grassroots project working to change lives of the women of kashmir in north india. the project is set up as a micro enterprise model in collaboration with earth kind cic to create right livelihoods for the women in kashmir through training, and the development of new skills, whilst encouraging the women to preserve the much-needed traditional skills and the way of life. chakra project has 42 women actively involved in the project; who develop and design the amazing and vibrant chakra design yoga products which are then sold to raise the funds to sustain and develop the project. at the heart of this project is to increase the social and economic resilience of the women in kashmir and every woman involved in this project is also a proud owner of their own micro enterprise. find out how this project is strengthening the grass roots movement for the recovery, resilience and regeneration of land and
