earthrise space foundation (esf) is a florida-based 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to developing space technology in collaboration with industry and academic institutions. esf efforts involve professionals from the aerospace industry working with aspiring engineers through challenging ventures, providing them with hands-on experience to prepare them for future employment in the entrepreneurial space industry. our goal, as primarily an educational 501(c)(3) non-profit, is to: • provide students and young professionals opportunities to gain hands on experience designing, building, testing and flying real spacecraft and spacecraft systems. o many students are losing interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (stem) disciplines. most often, this is can be traced to a lack of opportunities for them to work with cutting edge technologies and for them to discover solutions to practical, real world science problems. esf has established, and is operating a fa
