East Africa Social Enterprise Network Easen

east africa social enterprise network (easen) is a membership organization committed to the development of the social enterprise sector and social entrepreneurship in east africa (kenya, uganda, tanzania, rwanda, burundi and south sudan). whereas there are many social enterprises in the region, there is no single entity that brings them together. other notable networks globally are the social enterprise coalition (sec) of uk and the social enterprise alliance (sea) of usa. the social enterprise world forum (sewf) brings together all social enterprise networks in the world. easen is modelled around the aspirations of the east africa community (eac).
